  • Continuous improving of our educational efforts by concentrating them on the doctoral studies programme, facilitating participation of young scientists in leading research projects and their co-operation with their counterparts in other ERA and East European countries,

  • Raising public awareness in the field of our activities by extensive information and promotion of these activities both in the academic circles and the society,

  • Improvement in our managerial skills and style, especially targeted on better understanding the requirements of the end-users of our products and implementation of our results in service of the industry, local authorities and the society as a whole,

  • Elaboration of new analytical procedures for analyses of water and related environmental samples (sediments, aquatic biota), bioanalytics, and design of new, dedicated analytical instruments.

By carrying out and gradually achieving these tasks we would like to become a leading research centre, meaningful in Poland and Central Europe.
