Biomaterial worth gold

The scientists from the Chemical Faculty of Gdańsk University of Technology have been awarded a gold medal at the 16th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies “Archimedes – 2013”. The competition jury has appreciated the next generation biomaterial invented by the team of Grzegorz Gorczyca MSc, which can be used in medicine, cosmetology and veterinary medicine.

Cyber Eye – the best invention of the year 2013! The scientists from the Faculty of ETI have won 50 thousand PLN

– First we should do more here on earth for those in need, and then reach for the stars - professor Andrzej Czyżewski said right after the results of the Innovation of the Year 2013 competition were announced. The Cyber Eye developed under his leadership is used to diagnose and treat people who remain in a coma. The system outclassed the other 7 finalists. It was the decision of the TV viewers made in the sms voting during the final ceremony transmitted on TV on March 18th 2013.

Our trainees of the third edition of Top 500 Innovators

Five people from Gdansk University of Technology have won two-month-interships at famous American universities: Stanford University and University of California in Berkeley. In the very heart of the Silicon Valley they will broaden their horizons, gain the knowledge how to commercialize scientific research, acquire soft skills and build a contact network.
