So that you don’t get lost. Students of GUT successful in ImagineCup

Three teams from Gdańsk University of Technology, all of them coming from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunication and Informatics competed in the finals of the international ImagineCup competition. It was the FutureMind team including Rafał Gordon, Krzysztof Kowalski, Paweł Kwarciński and Michał Sienkiewicz that finally won the 3rd place in the Innovation category and received the distinction from Billenium company for the innovative character of the project. Krzysztof Manuszewski, PhD, MSc, was the advisor of the team.

A student of Gdańsk University of Technology to become a laureate of the first edition of the Generation of the Future programme

Daria Maria Bieńkuńska, Engineer, a student of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering has become a laureate of the Government's programme “Generation of the Future”. The young scientist investigates water pollution and soil contamination in rural areas. She aims to develop recommendations for the natural resource protection and management. She has received 89.000 PLN for the development of her project.

The best of the best. Students of GUT to receive Diamond Grants for their research

Three students from Gdańsk University of Technology received Diamond Grants of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. They are very young but they will already carry out their own scientific projects. The prizes were awarded on Wednesday, 13th May in Warsaw. Barbara Kudrycka, the Minister, emphasized that the observed high level of the projects makes her confident about the future of Polish science.
