RESEARCH

Please bear with us ! This page is being prepared

Research profile Our research is mainly concerned with various aspects of numerical and analytical modelling of electromagnetic fields and their interaction with matter. The focus is on high frequency end (microwaves, millimetre and optical waves) but occasionally we also deal with low frequency fields. As these problems usually involve solution of partial differential or integral equations as well as varius related problems such as signal processing or optimization our research includes also many issues pertaining to high performance computing, parametric modelling, genetic algorithms, visualization tools etc. The ultimate goal of the techniques that we are working on is the analysis of (and computer aided design tools for) microwave passive circuits, antennas, optical guides as well as investigation of medical applications and biological and technical hazards related to electromagnetic fields.
